A Dobie to Love

Although I have lost this sweetie's name, I am sure we could find out. These diamonds are all portraits that benefit local rescue groups. This is to aid Desert Harbor Dobermans

And half the proceeds of its sale goes to the group.

Red Dobie

I am making these little sketches of photos I carry in my pocket and pieces of watercolor paper torn in quarters.  More the size of a standard photograph, it is easy to sketch when I am in a waiting room or killing time.  This little Dobie was in my pocket a while and I have a lot to do today, so I decided it was time to bring him out!

I finally got a good Doberman in the mix. I find myself gravitating to the droopy and drooly, so this sleek beauty that I met in the Dog Park on Christmas Eve was a great change. Still a puppy, he has a bit of manners to learn, but he had a great day there. I edited the entirely drenched neck from a game of "Chew and be chewed".
