Growing up, my grandma had a one-eyed cat called
"Mommy". I had a tripod named Feather.
Pets with infirmaties are still GREAT PETS.
This little Pudge was a well loved and honored
member of the family. And who could
NOT love that smile!!!
It is not just dogs anymore! Begun as a daily blog in 2008, I am featuring my gift portraits. Lovely portrait. We had a lovely cat who was hit by a car and suffered permanent damage to one eye for the rest of his lufe. he recently passed away and i can't imagine another pet ever replacing him he had so much personality.
I was talking to a friend and we both agreed, their simple acceptance of JUST BEING ALIVE made ours so much richer.
We even went to the shelter to see if we could find another tripod to replace Feather. When they told us how many KITTENS they put down, we just grabbed a cat and went out sobbing....SPAY AND NEUTER... sorry for that ad.
