Hospice of the Valley Donation

I painted Lin Sue Cooney, a local television celebrity for a portrait show in 2015.  The piece featured her beautiful Standard Poodle, Max.  

This lead me to her and her new job as spokeswoman for Arizona's Hospice of the Valley and my portrait donation of the Labra-doodle pup that was auctioned at their big event!  SUCH A CUTIE!!!

I have a client in Thailand that sends me her pets regularly.  This latest piece is a golden beauty.

The older of the poodles was a real challenge. Whitest dog ever! Hope they like them when they arrive, which should be some time tonight while I sleep!

Foo-foo Poodle

Okay, that is being judgemental!  But when you see a full blown show dog, these baby's defy gravity.  It is an older sketch from a previous dog show, but I like the loose and immediate style of this very NOT spontaneous dog.

Golden Doodle

Somewhere in California, I understand there is an entire "Doodle" shop of all the mixed Poodle breeds.  This was one of the most jolly faces I have seen.  Not a problem getting a shot.  Purely movie star!

Daisy the Tiny Little Poodle

Dasiy and her pal Danby were two slightly muddied little fluffs the day I saw them at the park. The next day, they came back BRIGHT and shiny for their photos. After a bit of a hunt, we just meet up again at the park somehow.
This is one of a great pair of portraits as a Christmas gift to herself.
