The DOX BOX Pt. 1

Every year I donate a finished box to the PACC911 rescue group HOPE FOR THE ANIMALS event. This year I have just begun my silent auction piece, so here is a preview.
(Remember, the holidays are going to be here before you know it! I am able to make these personalized for you. BUT we must start soon!)

Deb, this is so cool! One of my favourite paintings you have done! What size are these boxes?

12" high, 12.5" deep and 24.5"long!
I think they are semi custom made. Smaller than last year, and frankly less suited to the technique. They are not the highest quality wood. Unpainted and MEANT for paint. A challenge to the non-crafty among us.
Last year my auction piece brought over $1000. Because I have not had an order for one personally, I can't tell you what I would retail them for. But I try to only do one pet, so I think the marketplace price would end up about $900 for the most simple design, as this is. I will do a bit more finishing on the surface (as yet undetermined how!)
I quite love them too. Never got as much interest as I was hoping last year. Maybe this will be the DOG BOX year!!
