Everyone needs some pugs. I used to be quite the master of the wrinkled snifflers a few years ago doing Pugstock and Pugapalooza charity events. A little 5x7" mini sample. $85.

It is not just dogs anymore! Begun as a daily blog in 2008, I am featuring my gift portraits. They are one of a kind, original art work, created to hang in homes and sit on office desks to bring the presence of a beloved pet (or family member) to mind. They are NOT for reproduction of any form. Any use other than personal requires a written contract and licensing of rights. PLEASE contact me for any of my art services.my email: deejaystar@yahoo.com.

Wow Debra! Love the Pug! i enjoy painting dogs in watercolor but just can't seem to get the charater or detail that you do. I realy envy your style.
My only hint: work small. For some reason, even though I am using 000 brushes, there is something really immediate about that mini size. For bigger pieces, I just use a bigger brush, but this has helped me refine and work a lot more efficiently!
Thanks for you comment!

I seldome see people with pugs here in Portugal.
I find them quite funny.
You caught the expression quite well.
Kind regards,
