The Christmas Gifts are Starting!

This lovely couple is a great gift from a son to Mom and Dad of the best dogs a family could have. What a really special treat to remember the rest of the family. Sure beats an Ipod!

Sample Cocker Spaniel

A few years ago, I was auditioning for a job doing breed standard dogs. I LOVE them, but somehow I would rather have a joyous mutt than a perfect icon.

Teeny Puppy

I think I am on to something.  These are itsy-bitsy little pictures.  All done with the OOO size brushes.  From the one yesterday, to this one today, a lot more working on the detail and yet in under 3" they are great little images.  This pup was at the big event in the hills on Saturday.  In the arms of its owner, it looked tired and ready to go home - cooler weather or not!

A Cute Little Duo

I just signed up for some temporary space in a Home and Garden permanent expo hall. Until paying vendors pop in, I have a small studio space. As an intro, my art group had a small show and I painted this little oil on site.
It is 11x17" $950 unframed narrow wrapped oil on canvas.

I have been in a Cocker Spaniel flood. First I could find NONE, now I am awash. This lady was cleaned, coiffed and absolutely stunning waiting patiently for her debut.

On my Cocker quest, I have found a few... mostly the brown sort.  This little one was at a charity event, just being real good and waiting for the fun.
