A Speedy Memorial

 

Two of Sophie

I have done a number of portraits of her mini-schnauzers, and I guess I should know to be heartbroken when I hear from her.  Just days earlier she lost her silver mini, Sophie.  After working with her photos and giving her ideas she felt it took two pieces to capture her personality.  

This is a 10x10" watercolor on wrapped canvas.

And to catch that happy smile, a small 7x5" miniature watercolor.

This was a loving gift as a memory for a little pug who had to leave this world recently.  Hopefully his owner will have nothing but sweet dreams of his memory.

As you can see from the well loved face, Granite had been very loved and will be very missed.
