Ocho - A Memorial

Return clients are always great... unless they are in tears and mourning the loss of another pet.  This was delivered in tears... as we usually do. 

As hard as it is, I really appreciate it when people contact me while in their early grief.  I KNOW this  helps.  I also get great hugs when I deliver it.  

Hospice of the Valley Donation

I painted Lin Sue Cooney, a local television celebrity for a portrait show in 2015.  The piece featured her beautiful Standard Poodle, Max.  

This lead me to her and her new job as spokeswoman for Arizona's Hospice of the Valley and my portrait donation of the Labra-doodle pup that was auctioned at their big event!  SUCH A CUTIE!!!

Priorities

A change of pace.  

This piece was an entry to the Mountain Oyster Club show in Tucson Arizona.  Dog patiently waits for the old cowboy to light up the smoke with the all by his feet... just ready.  

Ornaments!

It is all about opportunity and the time is now.
I started making these hand painted ornaments a few years ago and the PERFECT TIME to order is right now!   With the holidays coming, I can have them hanging on your tree this year.  All I need is a few  photos of your pet to use to get the personality of YOUR animal.

They are $40 plus shipping and fees for paypal, if you use it.   PLEASE email me early.  I will stop making them in Early December so plan now.

You can get them in regular glass or shatterproof for the more rambunctious households!

Riding Pride

Another horse portrait which was painted the Mountain Oyster Club show this year.  

It is an unusual oil painting, in that the canvas I used was actually denim.  I think it is about as Western as you can get!  

Zelda a mate to Lucky

This client had done a wrapped canvas of their great rescue, Lucky, years ago.  Their newest girl was a very mature, late life rescue and it is a mate to the one of dear Lucky who is no longer with us.

Buster Boxer

This is the second of a pair of Boxer dogs.  Gifts for a son from his dad.

CHRISTMAS pups

It is still last minute, but I will accept orders for Christmas ornaments of pets until Thanksgiving Thursday morning.  $35 for a portrait.  After that, they will be $40 for the holiday rush. 

Chester

My summer trip had me sharing digs with four wonderful Airedale dogs.  Chester was the poet of the crew.  Not to graceful, but dainty and skittish.  Such a sweety.  Charcoal on brown paper.

Fox Hounds

This summer in Virginia, I got to see real fox hounds in action.  These two are going to be in an art show in Charlottesville VA. at the Farmington Hunt Club.

I have a client in Thailand that sends me her pets regularly.  This latest piece is a golden beauty.

Rigel, a real winner

Earlier in the year, I donated a miniature to benefit Miniature Schnauzer rescue groups at the Fiesta Cluster in Scottsdale Arizona.  This lovely face is our winner!

Reilly and Buster

A mixed cultural couple - Puggle and Pom/Yorkie - showing how diversity is the BEST!  In human or dogs.  This was an early birthday gift.  Mom and dad met in the dog park because these two fell in love first!  Awwww!

Bud, a Memorial

This little guy was lost less than a month ago.  A new vet office was so kind to help me with an issue so I could not resist bringing back her friend to join them in the office.
